Kathy it would appear that you can't seem to do anything right in some peoples eyes.  If you spend your blog nicey nice, then people complain that you didn't talk about the show.  If you actually address what went on and your TRUE feelings about it than people accuse you of bashing Teresa.  I guess the only thing you are allowed to do is spout off about how Teresa is just FABULOUS!!!

Unfortunately there are a few of us still out here with BRAINS, and I think we would all be staring at the computer quite confused if you started, like Teresa, to just pretend nothing was wrong.  Thank you for actually being REAL. 

Please don't stop being you because of comments from people who are clearly so far up Teresas rear that their world must be colored brownish hot pink.  There are many of us who appreciate you for who you are, flaws and all.  Just Bravo doesn't post OUR comments as often.  Most of us appreciate sincerity and integrity and I have yet to see you act without either.

Commercialism Off The Charts

I would really like to see some popular bloggers address the annoying way that Bravo takes commercialism to a new level.  Most hour long television shows are actually about 40 minutes due to commercials.  Up to last season Bravo was throwing in an extra commercial in the middle of every episode.  That was incredibly annoying already - I am positive they make enough $$ that they don't have to wring out those extra few cents.  But this year they have managed to make something annoying into something intolerable.  Now the last ten minutes of every episode is 99% commercials and preview for the next episode.  At this point I think I may as well just stop the recording at 50 minutes because that is when the show actually ends.

It really isn't enough that if we care to watch we are forced to sit through every single housewives own personal infomercial for whatever crappy product they are currently hocking?  From ear stabbing singles to jewelry we should get out of the 25c machine to mass produced purses with a personal label glued on - there seems to be no real end to the greediness that may soon become the tagline for Bravo.  'Watch What We Sell Next'

Honestly is this a television network or is the television show just filler in between Home Shopping Network?

 I'd love to hear what other bloggers think of this greedy tactic.

Stripper-Gate and more

Ok I know I had originally said I would be posting gossip on Fridays but I am not like many tid-bit bloggers out there and I like to wait until as much of the story as possible is out.  Apparently there is still much more but I can't wait forever /sigh.....

Last Wednesday Bravo was set to film the annual Posche Fashion Show where all of the NJHW were required to attend.   Apparently Bravo was intending for this to be the season finale footage and even insisted that all of the ladies sit together.  (Do they really let Bravo tell them what to do down to where they sit?  yes they do)

The night started out okay from what I am told but Melissa had already been warned via text about the possibility of some dirt being drug up or a set up of sorts.  Nobody really knew who was going to be set up and that's how it goes in the rumor Mill but both Kim G and Melissa were hesitant.  It turns out that poor Melissa was the one getting set up.

Lynn N Chicago did an excellent job of summing up the situation in a guest blog for rumorfix:

Teresa confronted Melissa in the ladies room pretending to be concerned and telling Melissa that she was worried about her because this man was telling everyone that he was a witness to Melissa’s stripping days. Melissa immediately saw right through Teresa’s game and an argument ensued then escalated when Teresa told Melissa that Danielle Staub was on her way to the Posche show to confront Melissa, this was another lie that Teresa made up to try to rattle Melissa. Melissa decided to call her husband.

I’m told that Teresa “Freaked Out” and panicked knowing that her brother was on his way and that he would not be happy with Teresa’s latest stunt. The young man that Teresa and Kim D hired to confront Melissa immediately bolted the Fashion Show as soon as he heard Joe Gorga was on his way, the husbands weren’t supposed to be part of the deal and he had no intention of being confronted by Joe G."

Sources also reveal that the stripper himself - the one who was to "out" Melissa for a past she did not have was not only at a salon with Teresa earlier in the day but also has personally shown Teresa and Kim Ds text messages to him to a few people.  He was not happy about being brought in on the set-up and had originally been under the impression that this was just a joke between a close knit family.  He didn't realize that Teresa was actually trying to destroy poor Melissa.

Of course as usual neanderthal Teresa has since tried to put her own spin on the situation.  The woman truly believes herself to be smart and all of the public to be as dumb as nails.  From legally documented bankruptcy papers to every and any rumor that doesn't show her in the best possible light she tries to insist that we are just too stupid to understand the REAL truth.  I have to begin to wonder if Teresa is legitimately delusional and actually does see a 'different' truth than the rest of us.

She took to her twitter immediately following the filming of the Season 3 reunion and had this to say:

On my way home… Loooong day. Wow has Twitter gone crazy.

Wow have some people gone crazy… #sadforthem.

I don’t even wanna go there b/c I don’t fight on twitter not w/ fans, not haters, not w/ mean RTs & def not w/ a friend (ahem) or my family! But the rumors are getting ridiculous.

Let’s get this straight: I LOVE my WHOLE family. Would never do anything to hurt them. xx.

THIS is exactly why I didn’t want my family on the show–people come out of nowhere to try & hurt you. I don’t want my family hurt. Ever.

Breaks my heart that anyone would believe I would be part of something to hurt my family. Fame can mess with your mind. Family is forever.xx.

And for the record: I don’t believe MG was a stripper but I wouldn’t care anyway. (I have lots of ex-stripper friends… ahem…).

Remember when I was supposedly punched in the face? Now supposedly Jacq slapped me. And I hired a male stripper to expose Melissa… LMAO

You know Bravo loves it when bloggers make up crazy stories to get people excited about the show. Aren’t we exciting enough w/o the lies?

If you don't know by now, the "ahems" refer to Jaqueline.  I personally have never heard the rumor that Jacq slapped Teresa but if it did ever happen I would pay money to see it.  Honestly I think Teresa has a fairly smart PR person.  First of all - they spell check for Teresa as well as write her blogs.  I am personally nowhere near naive enough to believe that Teresa knows when and how to use the word 'whom' and I also have trouble believing that the knuckle dragger managed to spell 'ridiculous' properly.  Anyway this PR person knows if they put out enough completely false rumors it will lead credence to Teresa's spin on things when she says something that actually DID happen was just fabricated.  So they deliberately make up 9 stories and then say those 9 stories are false, (clearly they are) and then the tenth story which is actually TRUE, they can just claim is false too and people start to think there is a pattern.  Unfortunately for them, myself and about 98% of the rest of the viewers are smarter than cave lady and I guess her PR person too. 

Teresa has a fondness for talking about "this is why I didn't want my family on the show with me, who would want all their dirty laundry aired for the world to see."   But we all know it is her that has caused all the problems in her family and has continued to do so with this latest event.  Many other housewives installments feature family members.  Some who have even had on air disputes - Kim and Kyle Richards, Jacq L and Dina Manzo.  Yet none of reached the levels of maliciousness that Teresa goes to with her family.  If I could ask Teresa a question it would be "How do those other families manage but yours is the only one that can't withstand being filmed together."

The reality is that Teresa is jealous, she needs everything to be about her all the time.  She didn't want to share the limelight with her sister n law and she probably knew we would all see her for exactly who she is when that happened.  Ahem - I already had.

Still Teresa seems to be doing ok.  She still has many many fans who are following her delusions as if they too live in the same fantasy world.  Even Huffington post took to reciting some of Teresas fantasies for us.

"Bravo’s surprise at the fashion show was for Melissa: her ex-boss at Lookers, the strip club she used to work at. No one knew him, no one knew he was coming — although, of course Bravo had a microphone on him — and Melissa ran away from him and refused to film with him,” a witness at the taping tells me. “The producers made Teresa talk to him to ‘hear him out,’ so his accusations would be aired on camera, but Teresa stopped him mid-story and told him to not talk about her family and left."

I found this particularly comical because it took me back to Ms. Kelly B herself insisting that Bravo forced her to go on a trip where she literally lost her mind.  When caught red handed - BLAME BRAVO!!!

So how do we move forward from this?  Well we are suppose to continue watching the footage from Season 3 and then move on to pretend as if we are interested in Season 4 just to finally get to all the footage that we actually give two shits about.  Unfortunately by then all the leaky mouthed sources in NJ will have made us well aware of the full story.  Bravo needs to move up the season if they want us to care in any way.

Lastly I just want to say Jacq - I do believe you, but I really wish you had the balls to go to the reunion to confront Tre - why did you have to chicken out like that?  It sort of looks weak.

      

Teresa Backtrack

First I just want to say thank you again to Lynn N Chicago and the owner of Stoopid Housewives.  They have both been very kind to me.  I feel very flattered that the owners of the two biggest housewife blogs have even been kind enough to link to my blog.

Ok - onto the blog.  This is going to be short I just had an observation or two I wanted to make regarding the RHONJ season premiere. 

I really dislike Teresa Giudice.  I have since last year when I truly do feel that she bullied the mentally unstable Danielle Staub.  Heck even since the year before, from the Table Flip heard round the world.  For the record I do believe that Danielle lied about almost everything and very rarely if ever took any responsibility.  Still I don't think Teresa had any real reason to bully her the way she did and the physical attacks were just beyond acceptable.

As many now know I have been working on a Teresa video compilation that will go along the same route as my Kelly Bensimon videos.  In the course of doing this I have to watch and re-watch scenes over and over again.  So yesterday I was watching the Christening episodes again. 

I felt that Teresa was a little bitchy about the hairdresser who she felt should be doing her hair and not Melissas but after that I could see that this woman was truly stressed about this event and it did mean a lot to her to be there.

She wants to acknowledge her brother at the Church even though she was unfortunately late and Melissa only has a snarky comment to make about that.  Something about how Teresa never misses a party where someone else is paying.  That was just mean.

Then at the Christening - where Joe Guidice did make the effort to show up, even though he was uncomfortable and feeling ill (for the record I really can't stand him).  Melissa and Joe Gorga do NOTHING but talk crap about them.  Then Teresa comes over to say Congrats again - I don't know why she wanted to say it again, but I think she was trying to be nice and maybe make some peace.  Out of nowhere her brother starts attacking her and calling her "garbage".

I can not imagine how hurtful it must have been to Teresa to have that happen.  Then in her defense Teresas Joe goes after her brother.  What husband wouldn't?????  I know it would not matter to my husband where we were or who it was, if someone was calling me names like that for no reason and trying to hurt me - that someone had better run.

Then Teresa behaves like a sober adult and turns her attention away from her brothers drunken antics and focuses her concern on her parents health.  Good call, Teresa.  Meanwhile shit-faced Joey Gorga wants to go scream at his father some for apparently reprimanding him for acting like a Gorilla at a Christening. 

The most messed up part of this entire thing is the after math.  The part where anyone ALIVE wanted to blame the Guidices for what took place.....wait...what???  Yeah...

MeJo actually wanted an apology from TeJo for the whole thing.  It was THEIR sons Christening, so obviously the people they attacked should have to apologize. 

Can I clarify one more time?  I seriously can't stand TeJo.  I am not a "Team Teresa" player.  In my opinion she closely resembles in looks and behavior, a neanderthal.  But not this time and sorry folks I have to call it like I see it.  In this one instance, Teresa behaved herself like a lady and her brother and his wife and her family acted horribly. 

The real question now becomes, how do I fit the TRUTH of this encounter into my video compilation while still making it clear that Teresa is a bitch who rarely accepts any responsibility for her bad behavior?  It would seem I have my work cut out for me.

Fired New York Housewives

So a lot has been going around about the four housewives fired from the New York installment.  The Fired Four (is that something like the Fantastic Four - but like on opposites day?) are Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Cindy Barshop and Alex McCord. 

Now personally I rather liked Alex though in the last season it did appear that she was going out of her way to "bring the drama".  She said she had "finally found her voice" and when she did, most people wanted nothing more but for her to lose it again.  I always found her relationship with her husband, Simon, to be endearing - although many others just wanted him to go away.  I have a feeling that the rest of the casts hatred for Simon probably had something to do with Alex getting the boot.  I guess in New York society being detached from your husband is the way most women would prefer it.  Here in the Mid West I know a lot of women who would call their hubby their bff.  I guess I never really saw the problem with it.  To be fair to others, I can see how they did fit the "social climber" claims.

Cindy was probably the Housewife that I always cared the least about.  This woman is the absolute definition of boring.  And annoying!  "LuAnn you don't get to tell me what to do either."  Um okay...  Last time I heard that it was my 7 year old speaking to my 14 year old and it had something to do with whether or not ketchup could go with peanut butter.  The worst with her was some play date she was suppose to be having with the sperm donor for her twins.  It was actually painful to watch.  Everything the man did she complained about, he was too rough, blah blah blah.  No he wasn't, he was acting like a father, which is something you should be thankful for.  Because Cindy, while you "have everything you ever wanted", those kids of yours will probably want that 'father time' so why not just let them play?  Anyway, Bravo sent Cindy to the 'exiled' list, which was really a no-brainer since she was about as interesting as lint.

Now which should I list next - I have trouble deciding who I can't stand more; Kelly or Jill.  What is worse, complete conniving manipulative bitch or absolutely-in-need-of-meds psychopath?  Grrr - Lets go with bitch.

Jill Zarin it is.  If anyone has to wonder why this one got the axe, they must have spent the last three years popping jelly beans in kelly land.  You could actually SEE Andy Cohen getting panic attacks when he even so much as mentioned Jills name.  Jill was an original New York housewife and apparently she got it stuck in her crawl that she was the "popular" girl.  She truly acted like she ran the show and I think deep down she believed she did.

People originally loved Jill, but that was back when she was playing momma hen to the much-more-loved Bethenny Frankel.  Unfortunately in season 3 Momma Jill lost the vast majority of her fans when she tried desperately to ostracize Bethenny.  We all began to see exactly how manipulative this woman was.  From calling other cast members to convince them not to film with Bethenny to literally making Bethenny cry on a phone call that Jill allowed LuAnn to listen in on.  "She made her cry, she made Bethenny cry!" (Even Kelly knows this is a faux pas)

Moving into season 4 she continued with the Mean Girl facade and continued to lose fans by the truck load.  She even seemed to start getting on Ms.  LuAnns nerves.  She had nice things to say to peoples faces most of the time but as soon as they would turn their backs, she was busting them down in every possible way. 

I don't think any of the show drama she brought was what caused her to be fired, but I think it was more her constant attempts at manipulating the show.  I can easily see how irritating it had to be for producers to try to shoot footage only to find that once again Jill had decided who would film with whom and when.

The best part about the Jill business is how she tried so desperately to convince the world that she was "negotiating" with Bravo about the next season, when in fact the world knew there were no negotiations and she really got nothing more than a phone call to tell her she was fired.  Now she intends to pursue her career of tacky product lines that none of us want anything to do with.  She thinks she is going to make millions... Another visitor in kelly land we see.

Now Jill is threatening to tell all about Bravo.  Of course we are all waiting with baited breath.  Not that any of us cared to see her for another two seconds on the show but there is quite a bit of interest in the jelly beans that she is about to spill.  Lets hope she is not just talking out her skweezed ass once again.

Kelly Kelly Kelly Kelly.  Where oh where do I start?  The beginning I suppose.  That takes us back to season two and an Arthritis Charity meeting where she so sweetly told a child Arthritis sufferer "how cute" her illness was.  Then went on and on about how busy she is and how she puts her name on NOTHING.  All at a preliminary meeting.  A girl sitting next to Bethenny asks "Who is she?" to which Bethenny responds "evidently she's Madonna".  Kelly is horrified by this clear attack and murder attempt.  "What?!!!", you ask?  Right that's what the rest of the world asked as well.

Kelly didn't let this go all through season 2 even though Bethenny made numerous fruitless attempts to squash the issue.  Honestly at no point in any of the footage does Kelly appear to be actually following a conversation, she just randomly spews nonsense.  For example someone could ask Kelly what she thinks about Global Warming and she would say "Well I am just so grateful for the Eskimos and all they do, you know I don't personally like to club baby seals and I know that has nothing to do with Eskimos but Peta does a lot of like hard work you know."  At the start viewers tried to follow, then during Season 3 we all realized that this girl was a long way off her meds and there was no hope in understanding.

Season 3 ended with the ill fated trip to Saint Johns.  The entire cast was of the strong opinion that Kelly had a serious break down at this time and I have to agree from the footage we saw.  The cast claimed that it was far worse than what was shown on TV which led many of us to beg for uncut footage.  That never happened and I found myself hoping that a body guard or something would speak up about what happened.  No luck.

On to Season 4.  More of the same.  Bethenny left the show to actually make millions on her own and so Kelly didn't have to fear for her life anymore but she still had plenty of "Kelly" moments to keep us guessing.  After the suicide of Russell Armstrong it appears that Bravo may be finally taking the mental stability of cast more seriously.  That is a good thing - although seeing an un-medicated schizophreniac in action did hold a certain amount of interest for me.

There is much going around the rumor mill about who the new housewives will be.  Certain names have come up and it is rumored that Bravo is looking for actually rich women now, not just those who will fake it to be on the show.  The names out now are Carole Radziwil a former ABC news producer with Kennedy connections, Heather Thompson who is a married mother of two and has helped celebs launch clothing lines and Aviva Drescher a Wall Street wife with three children.  Much remains to be seen and Bravo has confirmed nothing at this point.  One thing is clear, these possibilities certainly embody the glitz and glam that Bravo has been looking for much better than the previously mentioned Fired Four.   

Welcome to Real Housewives Watcher!

Heyas!  Glad you found your way to my little blog.  I have just put together this blog as a place to compile housewife gossip.  As you can see there isn't much here yet, fortunately I have a life outside of these drama queens, so after a couple hours of putting this together I will have to wait until I have more time to add the meat.  Or the fruit, whichever be more applicable.

I have quite a lot to add when I get around to it, including some observations about a self proclaimed inside source referred to on Twitter as RIONJ1.

I make no claims as to the truth of any of the gossip out there about these wives.  Any opinions expressed here by the Author are simply my opinions and are not represented as fact.  Any gossip posted here is just that; gossip, while celebrity gossip often has a large grain of truth to it, there is also gossip out there that is simply fabricated.  It is not my job to sort that out.  I do not assert that anything here is fact.  It is my opinion that most housewives wouldn't know the truth if it smacked them with a 2 x 4, nonetheless I have not personally witnessed any of these events and can not verify them either way.

I hope to be able to offer a broad range of links and info regarding the Housewives series for anyone who wants it all in one place.
